The Gospel Spots Plan of Action
Purpose
To evangelize America through media. Gospel Spots wants to aggressively and professionally
use the same media that people see and hear every day to spread the Gospel
as presented in God's Word, in the knowledge that it will not return void;
that it will do the ministry work God intended for it to do. (Isaiah 55:11)
Premise
People are bombarded with thousands of messages every day. For the average
American, not one of those messages is the Gospel. Yet, never in the history
of the Church have we had such powerful media tools to reach people right
where they live!
We have the ability to get the Gospel to people as they go about their daily
lives using radio, billboards, even the movie screen of the local theater!
If we are to be fishers of men, as Jesus said, we must go fishing where the
people are: in the mainstream of American life.
Plan
Gospel Spots has created the spots and artwork and negotiated discounted
rates with the media companies. As God's people respond and funds
come in, Gospel Spots will put these ads on television,
in movie
theaters, on billboards
and on the radio.
Participation
There are three ways you can participate in the ministry of Gospel Spots
- Pray ("Pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread." 2Thes.3:1)
- ask God to provide the funds to place the media buys
- ask God to prepare hearts to see and hear the Gospel
